My name is Andreas Aleman and I was born and raised in Södertälje, which is a town south of Stockholm, Sweden. When I was around 3 years old I started playing piano and accordion and writing simple songs. My parent’s tastes in music rubbed off on me at a young age and when I would come home from school I was a devout listener of their LPs with artists like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and others. This exposed me to Soul, Funk, Blues, Gospel and good Pop music, which has influenced me in my writing, musical taste and music style.
My music is a combination of Soul, Funk, Gospel and Westcoast music, listen for yourself and see what you think.
